Hi! I'm Dan Dreibelbis (Dry-Bell-Bis), and I'm a raging Certified Guitar Nerd (CGN for short)

I was born in 1960 (yep, older than dirt), and born at the time of rock n' roll's adolescence. And in my close to fifty years on this planet, I've seen a lot of upheaval, a lot of changes - and heard and saw a lot of great music performed and written.

My own point in music came at the late age of eighteen, when, inspired by Brian May of Queen  (and in hopes of finding a girlfriend - women like guitar players, right?) I began taking guitar lessons from my English teacher in high school. Needless to say, I was way more successful at my first goal than the second :(

Over the years, I found music was my solace, my inspiration, and proof to me that at least I was good at something! Even when things were at their lowest - a failed relationship here, a lost job there - just picking up a guitar and playing it soon brought me back to rights and willing to give life another go.

Thankfully, as technology got better, cheaper, and easier to grasp, it soon became possible for me to lay down some ideas for songs - and, for the last ten, I've been featuring my music in one way or another on the Weeb. I've been on MP3.com, and my music can currently be heard on Soundclick and MySpace.

Some people, however, wanted me to make it a bit more personal - and so here's my own web page. And, needless to say, I've got some big plans for this. Stay tuned!
